The Spanish Association of Industrial Enterprises AMEC met with SEC Almaty and ABDC as part of a business visit to Almaty on trade development and investment attraction.
AMEC representative Joan Balcells noted that the association, which unites export-oriented and internationally active industrial companies, is studying the possibilities of Spanish companies entering the Kazakhstan market.
In turn, SEC Almaty, together with ABDC, spoke about the investment attractiveness of Almaty, and also presented priority areas for investment in the metropolis - high-tech production, tourism and creative industries with high growth potential and capable of attracting international investors.
Following the meeting, AMEC expressed its readiness to bring 10 large companies for a detailed study of investment opportunities, as well as to organize an exhibition for local businesses interested in cooperation with Spanish businesses. SEC Almaty and ABDC promised to provide the necessary assistance to AMEC in this matter.
