A new visitor center for tourists will be opened in the Tuyuk-Su tract near Almaty. 380 million tenge was allocated for its construction. A guest house, a cafe, a pharmacy, as well as an equipment store and a souvenir shop will be opened there, 24KZ reports.
Visitors will be able to get to Medeu by electric car, rent an ATV or bicycle, go hiking with a guide, or attend lectures and workshops. The project is aimed at developing ecotourism and increasing the tourist attractiveness of the metropolis. The center will be built taking into account environmental standards. Information panels will be installed on its territory and an emergency communication zone will be created. And for the safety of the guests, rescuers will be on duty at the facility.
