Interregional forum of Qaztrade JSC on contracting of early vegetables passed in Shymkent, organizer of the event was the City Akimat.
The event was attended by Nurlan Kulbatyrov, Deputy General Director of QazTrade JSC, and Aidar Abildabekov, Chairman of the Trade Committee of MIT RK.
The forum was also attended by representatives of regional akimats, regional socio-entrepreneurial corporations and their partners, trade networks of Kazakhstan.
As a result of negotiations, QazTrade and SECs of regions and cities, including SECs of Almaty, concluded preliminary contracts for the supply of early imported vegetables. The reached agreements will provide the market of Almaty and regions with necessary fruit and vegetable products during the upcoming off-season. Also, the supply of early imported vegetables will prevent the shortage of socially important products and prevent an increase in their price.
The main supplier of vegetable products will be a joint Kazakh-Uzbek company UZKAZTRADE, established in partnership with QazTrade in 2023 under intergovernmental agreements. The main task of the export-import company is to provide the Kazakhstan market with vegetables and fruits at wholesale price through social-entrepreneurial corporations and major trading networks.
