Almaty to launch 20 new projects in the manufacturing industry by the end of the year, 24 KZ reports.
It is noted that this will create about three thousand jobs and strengthen the position of the metropolis as one of the key economic centers of the country.
In 2024, investments in fixed assets increased by 8%. A significant part is directed to the manufacturing industry.
"In general, the production is provided by the enterprises of the industrial zone of Almaty and the special economic zone "Park of Innovative Technologies". In 2025, 15 investment projects worth 132.5 billion tenge will be implemented in the territory of the industrial zone of Almaty with the creation of 2,637 jobs," said Abulkhair Aimukhambet, head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Investment of Almaty.
It is noted that in 2024, the budget of Almaty was replenished by 2 trillion tenge, which is 22% more than a year earlier.
