On 12.10.2023, the Company adopted the Sustainable Development Policy, which reveals goals, objectives and principles of the Company in the field of sustainable development, as well as mechanisms for managing activities in this area.
Company considers it important to ensure transparency of its activities, taking into account the interests and needs of all stakeholders. In the reporting year, special attention was paid to the process of corporate ESG transformation, including from the point of view of building up internal competencies in various areas of sustainable development.
Company has joined the largest initiative of the United Nations - the Global Compact, and intends to implement international standards, as well as follow common corporate values and principles in the field of sustainable development. Participation in this initiative is a great responsibility.
SEC "Almaty" was one of the first among SECs in the Republic of Kazakhstan to receive an international rating in the field of sustainable development from the S&P CSA agency, which assesses the maturity and level of implementation of various ESG practices.
Today, SEC Almaty is at the beginning of the path to successful management of ESG factors and intends to annually improve its position in the S&P CSA rating by improving its activities in the field of sustainable development and demonstrating its corporate responsibility to society and the environment.
