In 2002, he started his professional career in the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Competition.

Over the years served in the banking sector, telecommunications industry, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For 7 years led the RSE REM “National Center of Expertise”.

Since the end of 2022 until his appointment, he was a head of private company.

Speaks Kazakh, Russian and English.

Graduated from Karaganda Buketov University with a degree in Jurisprudence (“Lawyer”) and Finance (“Economist”). Passed advanced training courses at the University of Potsdam (Germany). Holds an MBA degree, university - AlmaU.

Since December 2022, he has held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation "Almaty". 

He has more than 17 years of banking experience in the field of lending to legal entities. From 2003 to 2020, he worked in senior positions in JSC "Bank CenterCredit", JSC "Alliance Bank" and DB JSC "Sberbank", LLP "Almaty Finance. 

He studied at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Finance and Credit (Banking), has an MBA degree from the International Academy of Business with a degree in Management.

Zoya Kassenova has been Deputy Chairman of Management Board of Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation "Almaty" JSC since June 2023. 

Over the years, she held senior positions in "OEPF-Otan" JSC, "Kazakhstan Mortgage Company" (subsequently KMC JSC) and second-tier banks. Total work experience over 20 years. 

She has two higher educations: degree in "Management in social sphere and industries" at T. Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University (Narkhoz), degree in "Law" at International Taraz Innovative Institute.

Since June 2023 has held the post of Deputy Chairman of the Board in "Almaty" Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation JSC He started his career in 2006 in AstanaEnergoSbyt LLP.

From March 2012 to June 2019 held managerial positions in Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP, Beineu-Shymkent Gas Pipeline LLP, MunaiTas North-West Pipeline Company LLP.

From the second half of 2019 until his appointment, he worked in senior positions in private companies.

Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, English, Turkish and Chinese.

He studied at T. Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University (KazEU) and Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU).
