Almaty Business-2025: around 660 projects have been financed in the city

An Almaty-based paper manufacturing company produces 100 tons of products per month.

Since the launch of the entrepreneurship development program in Almaty, around 660 projects have been financed. As part of the program, loans at preferential rates are provided to both new and existing small and medium-sized enterprises. The maximum loan amount is 500 million tenge, and it is granted for a term of up to 7 years, reports a correspondent from Almaty.tv.

An Almaty-based company that started producing office paper to reduce the dependence of Kazakhstan consumers on imported products produces up to 100 tons of finished products per month. The procurement of raw materials and coverage of operating expenses of the institution, which has been operating since this year, were financed under the entrepreneurship development program.

Our company is a domestic A4 paper manufacturing enterprise. Our facility is fully equipped with modern equipment and resources, ensuring the quality and stability of our operations. This year, 120 million tenge has been allocated to replenish working capital, shared the company's director, Omar Fakhratov.

The domestic company, despite facing challenges, is making proactive steps toward obtaining an industrial certificate. Because, despite high competition in the industry, global instability has repeatedly proven the need for a large enterprise in the country.

The plant employs about 10 specialists. In the future, the number of employees is expected to increase, and a two-shift work schedule will be introduced. Special attention is paid to providing loans at preferential rates with the creation of new jobs under the funding implemented as part of the regional program "Almaty Business-2025."

To date, 660 projects have been financed, and more than 2,700 jobs have been created. Financing of small and medium-sized businesses continues, focusing primarily on production types, tourism, and social projects, said Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of "Almaty Finance," Zhuldyz Igenov.

In the future, the company plans to increase production capacity and the number of employees, as well as to set up the production of other paper formats.
