A meeting on ethics and anti-corruption issues was held in SEC "Almaty"

On November 04, 2024, a meeting on ethics and anti-corruption issues was held at SEC Almaty. The event was attended by the Ethics Commissioner of the Akimat of Almaty, Akhmetov Mamai Kazievich and the head of the information and educational headquarters of the Anti-Corruption Service of Almaty, Balgimbayev Sayat Sergeevich.

During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of compliance with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation and the Code of Ethics, in particular the norms and principles of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption", the Code of Ethics of Civil Servants of the Republic of Kazakhstan, non-admission of misconduct and other offenses for which the law provides for disciplinary, administrative or criminal liability. The participants of the meeting were also shown social anti-corruption videos.

It should be noted that the Almaty SEC has an anti-corruption policy. The policy reflects the commitment of SEC Almaty and its employees to high ethical standards of conducting open and honest business, improving corporate culture, following best corporate governance practices and maintaining the business reputation of SEC Almaty at the proper level.

SEC "Almaty" carries out anti-corruption activities based on the principles of irreconcilable attitude and rejection of corruption in any format and manifestations, personal example of leadership in forming a culture of intolerance to corruption, involvement of employees in anti-corruption activities, proportionality of anti-corruption procedures to the risk of corruption, openness of business, recognition, provision and protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms and the citizen, the legality, the inevitability of bringing to justice for committing corruption offenses, priority application of measures to prevent corruption.
