Deputies of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Mazhilis of Almaty visited the Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation of Almaty as part of a working trip.
During the visit, the deputies got acquainted with the activities of the company and its subsidiaries and discussed a number of important issues related to existing financial and infrastructure tools to support entrepreneurs.
The meeting was attended by member of the Committee on International Relations, Defense and Security of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanna Asanova, member of the Committee on Finance and Budget of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nuriya Niyazova, member of the Committee on Finance and Budget of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Stambekov, as well as deputies of the Maslikhat of Almaty Ruslan Idrisov and Karashash Juzeeva.
Today, the SEC of Almaty acts as a key institution for the development of the city, whose activities are aimed at supporting and developing entrepreneurship, as well as solving socially important tasks of Almaty.
Speaking about social tasks, member of the Finance and Budget Committee of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nuriya Niyazova noted the special importance of supporting social entrepreneurship.
In turn, Chairman of the Management Board of SEC Almaty Arman Shamshin said that social projects account for more than 60% of the portfolio of SEC projects. In total, the institute implements 23 social projects totaling 165 million tenge.
Following the meeting, the deputies announced their readiness to consider existing problematic issues and make appropriate recommendations to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
